Dear Diary...

Omigod. 3 years have past. Had been a prefect for 2.75 years. It had been a bumpy road trip, full of ups and downs but definitely enjoyable!

I think I'm gonna feels so weird when I get back to school tomorrow. No more morning duty, recess duty, Wednesday assembly duty, and saikang (extra work). Throughout my 'career' as an ordinary prefect, I spent my time at the General Office, doing the Latecoming administration. :)

Back then, Eugene, Alwin, Adrian and Mr Yeo (who has returned to teach mandarin in XinMin Sec) taught Rong Xian (who is now in the IP programme in NJC) and I the ropes. When Rong Xian later left, I was joined with Mitchell. :) That smart guy who always teaches me something new every morning. haha.

Soon, Mr Teo replaced Mr Yeo. :) Time flew, and then came our first investiture. Eugene suddenly disappeared from the General Office, leaving only me and Mitchell. New prefects joined us. Martin and Cody. :D Our turn to show them the ropes. :) (here's the reef knot, and that's the sheepshank..)

Time just flew faster and faster and I myself disappeared from the general office, being given new duties. EXCO.

Still remembered my interview. :) I made everyone in the room laugh.

Ms Hua asked, "So why did you come for the interview today?"
"Erm, because I like being interviewed?"
"laugh laugh laugh, Next time we'll interview you everyday!"
"Ok la. I came for the interview because I thought, 'since I have already spent so many years in PB. It wouldn't hurt to come for the interview to see if I can be of any more help to PB."

:) Was very honest also. "Choosing between NCC air and PB, sorry but I have already promised my CCA, NCC air first."

Still, I made it. Here, I would like to thank Mr Goh, Mr Teo, Mrs Chua, Ms Tan, Ms Hua, Ms Davora (who allowed me to become a prefect in the first place) and all the seniors and fellow prefects :D.

Rewinding back to the Prefect's interview. :) Only one in my class to have made it through. Fond memories. I could have been in the Student's Council, haha. But I still ended up in PB haha. My thoughts then were very simple. I wanted to be a prefect because I had never been a good student in primary school, and never managed to experience the life of a prefect. So I wanted to try it out myself.

Back to the present. The past week has been very eventful. Martin had faced a lot of problems in the short span of four days. We'll always be behind you Martin!

Today's investiture was well, a success to a large extent. :D We didn't really screw up yay! Sigh, but I didn't step down the way I expected myself to. This year, I had been picturing myself helping Martin put on the blazer. But it's a pity he could not join us on the stage. Nevertheless, he is still the de facto 'fourth exco', Programmes Coordinator. Do a good job guys.

So this year, we have 3 official Excos, and 2 official members of the Middle Management.

All In all, everything was really fun today. :) although I really felt a bit 尴尬 during blazer exchange, but I was so nervous and anxious to take my seat that I forgot to STARE at that lady. sigh.

The dance was very well done in my opinion. Again, a sharp learning cuirve for them. Really nice. I liked the solo done by aloysius. haha. :D Good improvement Aloysius :) Keep it up. haha!

this marks the end of my PB career. Looking forward to dinner, (which the bills be foot by the new excos) :D

andandand, I think happiness and sadness is something that is hard to hide. we all know that our dearest Mitchell always goes,"aiyah inefficient!", "could've done it better la!", and all that. He always 'appears' like he doesn't really give a damn about PB, but, he always gets the job done :/ 口是心非 in a good way. :D And earlier on he said that he felt the award is stupid. Nevertheless, he went up to recieve the award, and after the entire ceremony, he had a weird look on his face. I don't know if I saw wrong, but it looks as if he was sad that we were all going to leave PB, and he's happy he recieved the award despite him 'not wanting' it. :D

Expressions gives us away. :D

sian, i still think the invest theme this year should have been "Swift". Then the SC can have fun painting a super large banner of the FEARLESS cover. LOL. :D Then I'll probably lug it home.
