Wakefield has shown his face. Chloe, Cal, Nikki and Shane died today. More mysteries unravel.
Shane was an unlikely hero today, when he sacrificed his life for Trish, Chloe, Shea and Madison, engaging in a knife fight with Wakefield. Shane was disadvantaged, armed only with a pocket knife, while Wakefield had a boarding knife.
Chloe was later kidnapped in a stealthy way in the church. Later Cal was killed by Wakefield when the couple, Cal and Chloe were trapped in a dead end. After Cal was thrown into the water below, Chloe committed suicide and jumped into the water, her last words were to Wakefield, "you can't have me."
While in the attic, Madison was looking through the sheriff's files. She knew that there was someone among them with a file. Which meant that person had a criminal record. Shea helped Madison to look. They later found a file, and inside were documents and a mugshot of Jimmy.

I twisted my left leg, again. What a nice way to 'kick' off the holidays. Holidays are hard stuff.
Staircases hate me, I swear. I have a long time feud with them.
Our first encounter. When I was younger in Primary School, I fell down the stairs in my Childcare centre while attempting a stun. Luckily I only got scraped.
Recently, I feel slid down an entire flight of stairs, as if it was a slide at the playground. Luckily that day, the 1.5k run was cancelled.
And today, I was 'running' down the stairs because I was kinda running late. And. Ouch.

Physics was ok. The transformers question was okayy too. haha. Wanted to watch Hannah Montana with Wei Kit.
But when we arrived at Great World City, we found out that it was a sell out show. DAMMIT. Watched Transformers instead. Graphics were neat. Very noisy too. And it was great fun to see pieces of scrap metal flying around. No, I'm not a violent kid. I promise.

Today's the worst day of the exam week. I bulldozed through the first 3 days with confidence (: Argh, but today...
I pretty much screwed up the essay on healthcare, because I said that the Government Support was THE TRIBUNAL OF MAINTENANCE OF PARENTS. Which totally isn't! So, it's pretty much gone.
A math, my nemesis. I think the teachers 放水 for Paper 1. They went easy on us! So I managed to finish it with about 10 minutes to spare and I managed to check the first 2 questions in that time.
Paper 2 Section A was, quite okay. There was only 1 question I think I had problems with .
Paper 2 Section B was out to kill me. I couldn't do the first question. But I realised how close I was to the answer after the Exam when Wei Kit told me. argh, dammit. I was very close to the answer for the last question too!
In essence, today is a day to forget.
Looking forward to finishing the physics paper confidently, and also looking forward to seeing Taylor on the big screen in Hannah Montana! :D hahahaha.

(June 23) -- Peers called Khadijah Williams the "Harvard girl," or "smart girl" who enrolled at their Los Angeles high school just 18 months ago, but she never told them of the struggles behind her success: She was homeless.
Williams, 18, graduated fourth in her high school class with a GPA just under 4.0. It's an amazing feat considering she spent the bulk of her life on the street. She, her mother Chantwuan Williams and younger sister Jeanine Williams have been moving in and out of homeless shelters throughout California for years, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Khadijah recognized her gift for learning as early as age 9, when she placed in the 99th percentile on state exams. She was soon designated a gifted student.
Her elementary educational path became rocky shortly thereafter because of constant uprooting stemming from her mother's money woes. She failed to complete the fourth, fifth and eighth grades; skipped the sixth and split seventh between Los Angeles and San Diego. In total, she attended 12 schools over 12 years.
Khadijah's intelligence extends beyond the classroom. Her years spent surviving pimps, prostitutes and drug dealers taught her how to avoid bad habits and seek mentors, counselors and programs to help her reach her goals.
James and Patricia London became involved with Khadijah through one of those initiatives, South Central Scholars. After her mother and sister vanished from the homeless shelter where they were staying, the Londons opened their hilltop home to a lonely Khadijah for the remainder of her 12th grade year.
James, an orthopedic surgeon, and Patricia, a nurse, helped Khadijah with the essays for her college applications, according to the Los Angeles Times. They also taught her valuable life skills like money management, table manners and grooming.
Her Harvard recruiter, Julie Hilden, said she was impressed with her scholastic performance and knew she was a top candidate. The challenge for the Ivy League school is to create a support network of faculty, counselors and a host family that will all help foster her growth.
"I strongly recommended her," Hilden told the newspaper. "I told them, 'If you don't take her, you might be missing out on the next Michelle Obama. Don't make this mistake.' "
After only seeing her mother sporadically during the last six months before her high school graduation, Khadijah found her and her sister at a storage facility in South Central L.A. where they last stored their belongings.
The "Harvard girl" modeled her hunter green graduation cap and gown and practiced switching the tassel for her fractured family.
"Look at you," her mother said. "You're really going to Harvard, huh?"
"Yeah," she said, pausing. "I'm going to Harvard."
If she can do it even when in dire straits like this, we all should be expected to!
And Kodak has announced that they will stop the production of their Kodachrome Colour Film. The film has been critiqued as one of the best in the world of photography. Steve McCurry used this film to capture the haunting green eyes of the girl the world knows as the Afghan Girl.

Today's Chem paper was good. haha. The questions from the exam papers came out! (: hahhahahaha. So was pretty good. BUT I DIDN'T GET TO DO 1 MARK WORTH OF QUESTION!!. LOLS. No time ):

Today's papers weren't so much of a breeze. :/ English comprehension was pretty hard to comprehend. Question 7 was hard. We were supposed to find some form of occurrence of the phrase "invariable routine" in 2 paragraphs. Gosh.
The first passage had really long sentences which had no punctuation in between, which made reading and comprehending difficult. :/ Argh. The summary was a total disaster. I was in a trance and smoking myself through it. (Imagine throwing in a smoke grenade and running right through the smoke).
The Compo was manageable, just hope to be able to do as well as my class practices. (:
Bio section A and B were tricky. Really tricky. I had to read the questions several times to make sure that I got the right interpretation of the questions (paranoia). Hopefully I didn't fall into any traps!
Bio section C was a real breeze. OK , maybe not so, I'm not 100% sure I can get full marks for the 7 Either question. But, I guess I could at least manage 6 marks or more. (:
But section C was the smoothest part of the Bio paper. Really.
Tomorrow is Elementary Mathematics and Elective History! I realised that I lost my long ruler! Luckily I found out in time and rushed down to the bookstore to get another before it closed. (: Phew, close shave. Packed my construction set, my 'yin-yang' calculators and everything into my bag. (: 万事具备, 只缺东风! Hope to do well tomorrow for math, although it is not my forte.
Elective History is very much a goner. Although I have always been good in my humanities (no kidding, I'm good at regurgitating and spitting out paragraphs and paragraphs of reasoning and reflections of past events). BUT! I've totally forgotten last year's chapters and the revision didn't help me much either. Just can't seem to put them in my head. Sigh. I need to buy an external Hard Disk Drive for my brain. I shall now cross my fingers and hope for the best tomorrow.

Anyway, that's the kind of atmosphere in the house now, or at least, in the mist around me. I'm uber-ly nervous for the upcoming Prelims. I wonder if I studied enough. Seriously, (I wonder why no one believes me) I feel that I have slackened pretty much this term. Needa pull myself together and get through this!
I wonder if it's just my style of thinking or have I not studied enough? Now at this moment in time, I have completed revision for all my 8 subjects that will be tested next week. However, I cannot summon the information I have cramped into my brain as I wish. It's like, now if I ask myself, what were the reasons for the Rise of Hitler I'm like...stunned :/ Can't summon the knowledge I've stored with ease.
Actually, maybe I know... -Effective use of propaganda --> dramatic entrances like the entry with an aeroplane etc. -Disciplined party --> SA SS and Nazi youths. Showed them to be united and discipline. Thus, probably more decisive than current Weimar Govt. (: -Good speaker. (: stirred the emotions of the German people, sang patriotic songs at rallies. Clearly, I lack mental stamina.
I spent the entire day making notes for Biology. I decided to focus on processes this time around, so I wrote down every process that is involved in our biology syllabus. And, believe me, that took the entire day.

Actually I wanted to include a bit of molecular genetics, but I concluded that I was too tired and decided to take the risk, and believe myself that I remember what our dear Mr Goh has taught. I hope I really do.

Ok. I actually finished at 11. But did math till 12. No I'm not a workaholic. But I needed to send Mr Leong the questions I didn't know over the net as it seems that he has been quarantined at home. Sigh. So I had to write out EVERYONE OF THE QUESTIONS I DON'T KNOW AND SCAN IT. argh. omigod luh. But also good luh. haha. Along the way, I actually realised I know how to do one of the questions I initially didn't know how to. So, good improvement haha. (:
Sigh. I wonder if there's remedial tml. A dilemma with myself again. Lazy me wants to sleep in a little. Hardworking me wants to go for remedial, just in case it might help, and I might regret if I don't go. :(

This is going on my wishlist
Sigh. I don't know what to do :/
Prelims are coming next Monday. I just have a bad feeling about it and the big Os. Really afraid it might be the repeat of my PSLE :/
Sigh. I feel that I have slackened this term. And then again, I might not have entirely slackened, I don't really know. Because somehow I managed to have some free time once in a while this term, unlike term 1 when I was literally studying from 7am-6am.
And I think I didn't utilise the free time well. A part of me tells me to cherish the break and have fun during that time and make the most out of it because I probably won't have a time for a breather later on in the year, however another part of me tells me that I'll regret for life if I slacken now and screw up at the Os.
And I always choose to slacken off. Ok, maybe not always. Sometimes I'm afraid I'll regret in future and thus I put in another couple of hours of studying. :/
But I still think I slackened. And I'm afraid to bear the consequences :/ sigh. But then, somehow I always remind myself of how hard I have worked and I need a break, and I end up playing. :/
I wonder who's the angel and who's the devil now. :(
I think I slacked a lot during this 1 week self-study period. Then again, I think I've done quite a lot of revision also. I've already done revision for all my subjects, very well-paced I guess. Cos tomorrow I'll be working on my last subject, Biology. That will mean I have covered all my subjects by tomorrow, (excluding the 2 languages). I don't know if I've been slacking or working hard. Or doing work, but not doing it hard enough. :/ sigh. GIVE ME A SIGN! DAMMIT.
Yesyesyes. Os is not everything (I think that's Silvana's fave phrase), but it's still something significant. Sigh. I can't imagine what I'm going to do with myself if I get 10 F9s. Even 10 A2s can't really get me anywhere. It frightens me when things do not go as planned. I'd feel very insecure and all. :/ If I go somewhere worse then NJC, it will mean I have to begin planning again, and the reprioritising my dreams and aspirations. It's frightening.
I'm in a dilemma with myself.
I think I've got a split personality. :/

Cos my daily MSN meeting/conference with Silvana had ended early today! LOL she play rugby until she tired. LOLs. And I've done today's quota of Elective History revision! So I've done Stalin Hitler and LON in 1 day. hahahaha.
I approached E hist revision differently this term. I decided to do a chain of events for the rise of Hitler, the rise of Stalin and his 5 year plan and also the successes and failures of the LON. I think by creating reservoirs of information for the 3 topics to be tested for this term's Prelims will be pretty effective. haha! More effective than blindly reading revision kits. lol. (:

Charity from the Heart UPDATE!
The Board has officially reached 6 members. And I am happy/sad to announce that we will no longer be accepting applications to join our Organisational Team.
Below is the current Hierarchy of Charity from the Heart

The Have a Heart Campaign will be our organisation's first Project. Planning officially begins in December, although we have already begun the prior stages of planning and recruitment. The Campaign is projected to be launched in June 2010.
Although the applications have closed for joining the organisational team, we still need volunteers in terms of manpower, and we'll need a lot of that in June 2010 (:

Dear Diary... Do You Know How Lucky You Are?
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the million who won't survive the week.
If you have never experienced the the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture or the pangs of starvation, you are ahead of 20 million people around the world.
If you attend the church wedding without fear or harassment, arrest, torture or death, you are more blessed than almost 3 billion people around the world. (yes, it's a B, not a M)
If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head, and a place to sleep, you are richer that 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If your parents are still married and alive, you are rare. Especially so when compared to those in the United States.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful, you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.
If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder, you are blessed because you can offer the healing touch that has been given to everyone of us.
If you can read this at all, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read anything at all.
And to have a friend like me who's telling you this, you are more blessed than anyone on Earth. (HAHA JK!!) LOLS.
Yups. So, we're very blessed. I have seen my fair share of kids with broken families, they're still going strong. An absent father due to illness, or after a divorce, they are still going strong. An absent mother due to war, they still move on. And why not us?
We are so blessed in so many ways we may never know, because we're all so poor in math, and we all forgot how to count. haha.

Dear Diary... IT Fair! samedi 13 juin 2009
This is hot stuff. Really.
It is, said by critics, to be comparable to the Seinheisser CX-300, and guess what, this pair of Creative EP-630 only costs half the price. (: YESS. I knew I've got myself a good deal. haha.
At the IT Fair, a pair of mid-range Seinheisser earphones can easily set you back by about 100 dollars. (: I got mine at $35! haha.
I wanted to get the Aurvana:
The Aurvana. Sexy stuff. haha.
It costs $99. Mum feels it is too steep for a pair of earphones for a kid to listen from. Sigh. :( Never mind the Ep-630 is still sexier than my current iLuv pair! haha.
I don't know why. I can't really describe sound in words like my friends do. Like treble, bass and whatnot. But I know what I'm looking for haha. Or, more like I know what I'm hearing for. haha. (: I'm listening for that ooomph. You know, the oomph? Yes that's right, that word describes it all. Ooomph. Present only in good music, hearable only from good earphones and speakers. (: I <3 Creative. I'm sooo gonna get the Creative X-Fi!
Anyway, today was pretty fun. haha. COS THERE WAS NO MATH REMEDIAL!!! So I woke up really really. Finally after 2 weeks of madness, REST! (: Omigod. It is so blissful to wake up to hear the birds chirp and stuff. And feel the warmth of the sun on your butt! Totally awesome.
Then the IT fair. Met Ernest and Gary! haha. We didn't actually plan to meet haha. Fate brought us together. (: So went roamed around level 4 looking at laptops, listening to Gary's funny anecdotes and playing with Tablet PCs (: hahaha.
Joined my mum at level 6 afterwards to get my awesome new pair of Creative Earphones. (:(:(: hahaha. And somehow, we managed to get our hands on a new Compaq desktop PC. ): Hope to be able to use it soon. haha.
Then we went for lunch! haha. Lunch was super eventful. lol. We ate at the Asian Kitchen! My fried rice didn't come :(, my parents had all gotten their orders. So it seemed that they forgot my order. Sigh. I still got it eventually. Began tucking in, and then the lights went out. :/ POWER TRIP! Afterwards, when we paid the bill, the waitress said I was very lucky! haha. Cos they probably could not prepare anymore fried ricedue to the power trip! So I got the last plate! hahaha. (: Lady Luck is finally smiling on me. Hope she will see me through the O levels! haha! Anyway, I love the Avocado smoothie at Asian Kitchen. (: Very thick. haha! So I'm recommending it to anyone who's going there to have a meal! hahaha!

As promised, Silvana. hahaha. I bet you overslept, again. :p
Anyway, I thought that Love for a Child seemed like a nice song to go with our cause, since it has such a fitting title. However, if you read the lyrics, we might even be charged with religious sedition if we really were to use it. :/ lols. And the song is actually about divorce, from a child's point of view.. :( sad right?

The planners have named their charitable organisation, Charity from the Heart temporarily until they find a better name.
The motto of the organisation shall be permanent, Caritas Ex Cor, which translates to Charity from (the) Heart in English.
The current members of the organisational and planning level of Charity from the Heart are:
President - Mun Yong Liang (: (that's me) PA/Human Resources/Relations Co-ordinator - Silvana Wijaya Advisor - Adrian Chew Jun Ren (the most mature of the team. Our guiding eye! haha)
Youth Organisations which have pledged their help are: Class Management Committee, Catholic High School. (disappointing leh PB. tsk tsk tsk.)
