Eventful year

It has been a very very eventful year for me. Secondary 3 life has left us so quickly. Next year, we become sec 4s, intensive lessons will become a daily affair. PRELIMS. :s

Just thinking of it makes me giddy.
Today has been a very eventful day itself too. :) Sex ed in the morning. Breaking down barriers. Recess. Clean up classrooms. Science Centre! Watched an Omnimax movie/documentary on the Grand Canyon. Although it was boring and sleep-inducing for my classmates, it was pretty awe-inspiring to me. The power of nature. And the power of man to alter it and kill then themselves. GOSH. Grand Canyon. BEAUTIFUL. Yah.

I love documentaries. :) They make me think further haha. Colorado is very pretty. I dunno wat to say here, but just appreciate wat we have around us. Yeps. And I heard about the 9 year old American boy saving up a few thousands of dollars to build communal taps across Africa before this documentary, in a compre passage. :S. 好伟大的小男孩! 有前途! :)

I wanna go to Dubai when i grow up, and see the 2 faces of their society. The possibility of a golden age in our era is virtually impossible. The difference between the richest, and the poorest is too large. In Dubai, Casinos thrive, exotic cars race across the complex motorways in the desert city. However, at another end of this thriving metropolis, locals struggle to find work, live in poor conditions. Poor sanitation and famine is going to wipe out these poor people. :( Reminds me of Macau from the SA2 compre passage. :S

Why are there so large differences, in a single city? It just seems so contradictory.
