Teaching seems like a career I may consider. Mr Jefferey Goh kinda inspired me to be a good biology teacher as well.

1. I love biology.
2. Both Mr Goh and Mr Fernandez showed me how popular teachers can actually be with students, and how enjoyable the teaching career may actually be.

So, I went for the talk on teaching as a profession instead of the Psychology one, because we were late... (blame Kenneth Low :/), so we decided not to waste the afternoon and joined Mr Fernandez's talk on teaching instead. Certainly not a regrettable decision.

The work hours for a teacher is amazingly flexible. Although as you rise up the ranks, it becomes less, and less flexible.

The starting salary is pretty attractive. 2.7k for beginners, with an honours degree. And, it just keeps rising. Furthermore, teaching, is known to be a 铁饭碗 (stable) career. In times like these, joining the government is still the way to go.

The satisfaction from grooming a class of successful gentlemen is simply too amazing to be described in words.

After the talk by Mr Fernandez, we headed back to the Primary School Hall to look at the booths the Universities, Junior Colleges and Polytechnics have set up.

ACJC seems like a good back-up if I really fail to get into NJC.

Learnt more about the social science courses, especially psychology at the NUS booth. Psychology will cost me 4 years for the Bachelor Degree, with honours. And to my disbelief, Psychology, which is classified under Social Sciences, costs only $6,600 for 2 semesters. A lot cheaper as compared to the medicine and dentistry courses. :)

PSYCHOLOOOGYYYYYYY. :D I'm so getting there.

Wei Xuan said something very funny today after our Chemistry test.

There was this question in our Chemistry test paper:

As the number of carbon atoms increase in a hydrocarbon, which of these decreases?
A. Blahh.
B. Flamability
C. Viscosity
D. Blahh.

Wei Xuan chose C at first, but chose B eventually, which is the correct answer. His reason? "I was thinking. Since bitumen has the highest number of carbon atoms. If it is most flammable, the roads will all explode!" LOL...

Dam Cute.
