Thanksgiving.

Went to the temple right after tuition today. A part of me was saying,"Didn't do very well this term, still have to go temple and do thanksgiving..." Then the cool-headed part of me thought and said,"At least you did not do that badly. At least you improved your physics and did quite well for biology. There are others who fared worst."

Learn to be content. If 一山还有一山高, then I guess 一还也有一还低. In Hawaii, the ancient thanksgiving is more than just eating. They honour the ancient god, thank him for the blessings he has showered on them. Even if their family or friends pass away that year due to a tidal wave, or a vulcanic activity, or they have poor harvest, they still pray to him all the same. BECAUSE, they are thankful that they are still alive, and have survived the adversities.

Same here. "It doesn't mean you do not offer thanks if you don't get your As," I told myself, "but be thankful you have got what you have got."

Physics SPA next week. A1?

On my way home from J8, I had the strong urge to do my Three Minute Dash from J8 back home again. But I was determined not to ruin the sole of 363. All that running in my older 579s have worn out it's sole so quickly. I wanna run. :)
