Forgot to talk about the Celebrations in school today!
Very fun (:

After the boring inaugural march-in/parade, we had the inter class games. (: Sec 4s were playing FIBA 33 basketball. The original team consisted of Samuel Chia, Kenneth Tay, Wei Xuan, Wei Jie, Kenneth Ong, but in the end random, sporting classmates like Toon Yang and Alan went up to play! (fouroNe spirit okay. we won't just sit and watch our classmates get beaten)

Although we only won 1 game, against 4-4 but I thought it was quite a brilliant display of fighting spirit and class spirit. The fact that we kept substituting our players, even those who did not sign up to play, showed our class spirit. And the team, Wei Jie, Wei Xuan and Samuel especially, kept attempting hoops even when we were trailing pretty far behind 4-7 and 4-10 showed their fighting spirit. Although they lost, it was a lot of fun to watch them play. Wei Jie and Wei Xuan especially. Wei Xuan did not have much luck in the first half against 4-4, but shot 3 hoops in a row in the second half.

Wei Jie hardly had any luck. But he proved his mettle in one of the final games. A few two-pointers here and there and a three-pointer prevented us from being beaten too badly. Neat moves Wei Jie!

And Kenneth Ong was sick today and was reluctant to play the first game. But when he saw us getting pretty much thrashed by 4-7, he decided to 抱病上场! fouroNe spirit (: And he was one of the only brave ones who dared to block the balls from Benny in the game against 4-10.

And the funnier part of the basketball game. Toon Yang going on the court! haha. He's our class's de facto entertainer. He's quite hyper most of the time and he put his hyper-ness to good use today! Although he only scored 1 point, it was a really good one, considering that he was against some really able opponents. Yup. Really fun to watch him play. It was a pity though, he missed a few opportunities because he forgot to 'clear' the court.

Nevertheless, good show (:

One of the best basketball games today was between 4-9 and 4-10 (the sports class). Epic battle. It's quite sad 4-9 lost by 1 point, really. But 4-10 was really rough. But I guess they knew the rules well enough so they didn't commit any fouls.

At half time, even the scoreboard felt that it was a good game. (GG!)

fouroNe kicks ass. (: We need a class tee soon.
