Felipe Massa High-Speed Crash

omigosh. Felipe Massa crashed at the Hungaroring in Hungary during yesterday's Qualifying Session 2. He was knocked out by a loose damper spring that came off Rubens Barichello's car that flew up the circuit and damaged Felipe's helmet and dazing him. This caused Felipe to drive at full speed into a tyre wall in turn 4.

He was airlifted after being check at the circuit's medical centre. He has a skull lesion, a cut in the forehead, a concussion and wrist injuries. He will not be racing in today's race. );

Sigh, streak of bad luck for Ferrari. Last year, Massa's championship could already have been confirmed in the Singapore leg of the race if his car hadn't been so unreliable. His engine has been cut off in Australia and Hungary to name a few. Probably, the only reason Hamilton got the championship was that Massa had been unlucky with his car, and no one else was as big a threat to Hamilton as Massa.

Argh. And this year, the F60 had not been good for the first half of the season. A pretty slow-moving car. New sets of upgrades were put in race by race and the car became faster and this crashed happened. Sigh. What's to be to be, what's not to be not to be.

You can clearly see a spring flying at him at 0.02 and at 0.28
