So, is Fate a nice guy, or an evil person?

The recent Air France incident has probably taken 228 lives away. 1 of the suspected decease boarded the flight, by a twist of fate. He was supposed to get on to the previous flight, but due to overwhelming demand, he had to take the later flight. And eventually, the flight met with disaster.

Another man had wanted to board that unfortunate flight. But somehow, lady luck has taken a liking for him, and decided to spare him. when he booked his tickets, he was informed that flight 447 was fully booked, and was thus scheduled for the next flight. That saved his life.

So is this karma? Fate chooses whom he/she wants to be dead, and whom she wants to be living. Scary. I guess we should all do more good deeds.

Sigh.

For some reason, I think there's still a glimmer of hope that someone survived. Let's hope that's true.
